While Walking Around Athens - The Evzone and the Dog (My Favorite Photo of All!)

I love this photo!
The Evzone, the dog, the flag waving in the breeze, the exquisite Presidential Mansion
(former palace)...
This dog is so secure in the care the humans around him have for him.
Even with these very tall soldiers pounding beside him on their
loud wooden clogs,
he doesn't so much as bat an eyelash or twitch a muscle.
True care and love on the part of these men for their best friend, dog...
and love and security on the part of the dog for the men whose amazing lives he shares every day of the year, 24 hours a day.
