This manger scene (that I happened upon) really struck me.
The Baby won't be added until Christmas Day when we celebrate the Incarnate birth of God.
But it got me thinking...
What were Joseph and Mary and their entourage doing at this time - 3 days before Christmas - all those years ago?
Why...they were travelling from Nazareth to Bethlehem of course!
So while we are all busy getting in the "Christmas mood," Mary was nine months pregnant, travelling across dangerous roads on a donkey.
What a lady...
