While Walking Around Greece... (Ancient Agora - Athens)

This is the exact spot where the Ancient Athenians
- and all who traveled to Athens from around the world -
did their buying and selling
oh, so many years ago.
It was not only the Athenians' shopping area
but their civic center too.
The Church of the Holy Apostles is in the foreground
with the much older Hephaestus just seen
resting on a hillock in the distance.
It is the best preserved ancient temple in all of Greece.
It's interesting how even today people from the four corners of the world
still walk these ancient roads.
